Easy-ish food recipes?

I got in a pretty big fight with my mum last night. I have a day off today and I feel like doing something nice for her, so I figured I'd do some cooking and baking. Any ideas or recipes?Easy-ish food recipes?
Cook up some of your favorite pasta...spaghetti or ziti whatever you like. Brown some burger and mix in your sauce. Be sure to butter some bread and sprinkle it with garlic poweder and mozzarella cheese and broil until brown bottom and the cheese is melted. *keep an eye on it because it burns pretty quickly. I like to cut the bread into little sticks when it's done.

She will appreciate anything you make...as long as she doesn't have to do it!Easy-ish food recipes?
That is so sweet of you!! Believe me anything you make for her will be fine and appreciated. As another person mentioned, any pasta dish is easy and so good. You can make a scampi (garlic and butter) sauce and put that over noodles and chicken, or shrimp. Have lots of Parmesan cheese to put on top if you like it.....
SOMETHING I THINK IS REALLY YUMMY, IS TAKE SOME BONELESS SKINLESS CHICKEN BREASTS AND PLACE THEM IN A BAKING DISH (MAKE SURE TO WASH THEM FIRST). POUR SOME ZESTY ITALIAN SALAD DRESSING OVER TOP OF THEM. COVER THEM WELL. COVER THE DISH WITH ALUMINUM FOIL AND PLACE IT IN A PREHEATED OVEN.450 DEGREES. BAKE FOR 30 TO 45 MINUTES CHECKING AFTER 30 MINUTES....WHEN NOT PINK AT ALL ITS DONE. FIX SOME GREEN BEANS AND CORN OR ANY VEGETABLE OF YOUR CHICE TO GO WITH IT. ITS INCREDIBLY EASY AND DOESNT REQUIRE BUT ABOUT 1 HOUR OF YOUR TIME.
On the back of the Fry's cocoa can is the best brownie recipe ever made. Just make sure to bang the pan on the rack half way through the baking process- it makes the Brownies fall, which gives them that nice chewy denseness.
chocolate cake with chocolate frosting works every time as a lil make up kinda gift thingy.
