I'm doing food 4 my Dads funeral n need easy cheap finger food recipe's that i can do the day before! HELP!!!!

Taco Boats are good and will fill up an empty stomach and may even make some forget their grief for a moment.

Wonton Wraps

2 pounds hamburger meat

1 large sweet onion chopped

2 pkts. of Ranch Dressing Mix, dry

Grated Cheddar Cheese

Pre-bake the wraps in a muffin tin and transfer them to a cookie sheet as you bake. They will make little bowls. You can find the wraps in the produce section.

Brown your meat and chopped onion and drain. Mix in the two pkts. of Ranch Dressing Mix and stir well.

Spoon into bowls and top with grated cheese and place back in the oven to melt the cheese.

But really, it was your father, the food should be brought to you instead of you having to worry about i. You have enough on your plate as it is.

Sorry for your loss dear.

These heat up well without the wraps getting soggy. Wonton wraps are pretty solid once baked.

Bean Salad with a twist!

Get about five cans of mixed beans, drain them and add them to a bowl with a large bottle of French Dressing. Have two bags of Frito Corn Chips ready when you are ready to serve and dump them in and mix well. Good protein and fiber and the Frito's makes this special.

This does not even have to be refrigerated, just make sure you mix the Frito's when you are ready for everyone to eat and not before.

Relish and cheese trays?

olives, pickles, veggies, dip, cheese, crackers.

Maybe some sort of cracker spreads, too.

A good one is: finely shredded cheddar cheese, canned or jarred pimentos( drained) and salad dressing. It's really delicious.
finger sandwiches (egg, tuna, ham spread)

cookies

cupcakes

Pinwheels (tortillas, cream cheese, lunch meat, lettuce and roasted bell peppers in the jar by the pickle section) make into a wrap then cut into finger size sandwiches

chips and dip

veggie tray with dips

Hope this helps
ok first of all as everyone said so sorry. i know what thats like you really dont need to be worrying about food right now.

i would suggest buying a platter if not:

pigs in a blanket- pillsbury crescent rolls in te tube and get the cocktail weiners in the plastic package easy just put tem together.

veggie platter-just get like 4 cheap veggies cherry toms no cutting. get a lg sour cream and a package of hidden valley ranch ranch dip mix for dip. easy cheap. good luck
So sorry about the loss of your father. :( Pasta salad, egg salad sandwiches, macaroni salad, sliced cheese and pepperoni cubes, cook a ham and slice it for sandwiches...

Not sure if that helps but maybe a couple will work for you.
I am so sorry for your loss.

Buy some rolls and get some meat trays.

make it easy for yourself

God bless
So sorry to hear that...

Lots of people call us for times like these, I'd suggest calling a local sandwich shop, it'll save you time, and probably won't cost much more than if you did it yourself.

If you have 50 people, ask for 25 sandwiches cut in half, or quarters, and pick them up the day of the funeral. You can bulk up the rest of the table with chips, pretzels, dips, fruit, salads that sort of thing.

Ask friends and family for help, that's what they are there for in times like these, they won't mind.

Good luck ...

So sorry.
I am sorry for your lose. If you have a membership to a local wholesale club or even at your local supermarket they have lots of finger foods that are easily baked in your oven
very sorry for your loss, i would do a buffet table mixed with all different stuff

potato salad, macaroni salad

a cheese plate

a cold meats plate

you could do some sausage rolls, spring rolls,

you could also do a plate of sandwiches egg salad, tuna salad

you could put out some kaiser buns and people could make sandwiches out of the cold meats and cheese trays
this link is geared toward poker party foods. But the ideas are really good, easy, and cheap. I tried them and will do them again often.
