Does anybody know easy tasty food recipes, im a first time cooker and have no experience in the kitchen?

i recently moved in with my bf and i want to impress him and make him great food, but in reality i have no cooking skills or experience what so ever. can someone give me tips and recipes to help me make great, tasty and easy to make meals please.

thanks :)Does anybody know easy tasty food recipes, im a first time cooker and have no experience in the kitchen?
My two favorite recipes:

Take chicken tenderloins, put them in a skillet with heated olive oil. Let them cook a little then flip. In the mean time, chop up mushrooms, broccoli, sliced peppers, whatever veggies you like. Once you flip the chicken add the veggies and about equal soy sauce and worchestershire sauce. Put a lid on it and let it steam til the veggies are cooked. I serve it with rice or buttered egg noodles.

Take flounder, haddock, halibut, or tilapia. Put it in a buttered baking dish. Take fresh plum tomatoes, scallions, and shredded carrots, put them in a bowl add olive oil, lemon juice and dill. I let it sit over night if I can. Put the mixture over the fish and put a few pats of butter over it. Cover and bake at 350 for like 30 or 40 minutes. Serve with cheddar rice or buttered egg noodles.

You can line the baking pan with foil and cover it with foil which leaves less time cleaning up and more time for other things!! Wink Wink.Does anybody know easy tasty food recipes, im a first time cooker and have no experience in the kitchen?
try a bacon spinach pizza! it is on the yahoo food section! it also has plenty of recipes to die for!
Have a look round this website which is full of great asting recipes and most of the ingredients are easy to find. I would suggest trying your hand at some of the pasta or rice dishes first. The Thai Chicken is east and very nice, as is the Easy Chicken Masala.

Hope this helps : )
Chicken butts. You take a wide strip of chicken breast and wrap it around a strip of jalapeno or poblano pepper then wrap the whole thing in a strip of bacon and grill it for 10 min. He'll think u spent hours on it.
If you sit and watch the food network for an hour a day, you will learn a lot about cooking. Thats how I taught myself most of my cooking skills. Good luck, hope this helps.
This site should work out really well for you. There is all kinds of recipes in there with a few words of wisdom to help you with food and your guy.

That's funny I was going to say a homemade pizza(buy a pre-made crust, sauce and all the things you like on your pizza)or spaghetti! Both are easy and good. Another good one is tacos with rice and beans or cabbage salad.
I'm the exact same way :) Check out www.MyFridgeFood.com. Easy recipes using what you already have in your kitchen. Extremely user friendly and it stores your ingredients. Saved me :)
If you have zero cooking skills I would stick to the oven or a crock pot. Something simple like roast w/veggies looks great on a plate and is so easy.

Season, bake, and plate!

I prefer pork roast but beef will work as well.

1 roast (about 2lb is ideal)

1/2 small onion

1 pk baby carrots

5-6 small red potatoes or 3 lg russet potatoes (I prefer the russets)

Garlic Powder (not garlic SALT)

Seasoning Salt

Onion Powder

Italian Seasoning

Black Pepper

Salt

2 pk Brown Gravy Mix

2 cups Water

Chop your onion and potatoes in 1/4-1/2 pieces. In a small bowl add water and brown gravy mix then set to the side. (Do not cook it) Season the meat and place on the bottom of the crock pot with the fat part on top. Add the veggies then poor over the gravy mix. Put the lid on set on low for 6-8 hours.

Or bake at 250 F for 6-8 hours in a 9 x13 cake pan. Place the roast in the middle of the pan, fat part on top. Season liberally. The entire top should be completely covered with seasoning. Arrange the veggies around the roast then add the gravy mix. Use your judgment with the carrots. You don't have to use the whole bag but you can if you want.

Add a salad (in a bag) and some hot rolls (freezer section) and you are good to go!
