Recipes for food easy to eat with injured hands - HELP!?

My husband has broken his elbow and can't use his right hand (he's right handed). He also bruised his left wrist so can't use his left hand very well. I am running out of ideas of cooking food that is easy for him to eat with his poorly left hand!

Any suggestions please?!

He pretty much will eat anything and I'm a reasonable cook so anything will be welcome!Recipes for food easy to eat with injured hands - HELP!?
When my aunt had Carpal tunnel surgery,

she would eat stuff like mashed potatoes, macaroni salads

my Uncle would cut her meat up for her and she'd do ok

(forgive me, I forgot the users name) has the right ideas with finger foods.

Hope he gets well soon!! ( or he may just enjoy you feeding him...LOL)Recipes for food easy to eat with injured hands - HELP!?
soup with a straw
Sorry to say all I can think of is soup unless you want to feed him. That might be fun. Hope your hubby feels better soon.
pasta with a sauce,

salad,

toasted sandwiches,

a bowl of chilli

or how about making an effort and doing a kind of selection of dishes of little things like: tapas,

an indian selection,

spring rolls and dim sum with savoury rice,

or pitta breads with dips like humous

or the ultimate finger food, tortilla chips with salsa and guacamole and refried beans

or have a romantic feeding session
Can he use his left hand well enough to gently pick up items? If so, one option is finger foods. Alot of this can be found in the freezer section, but some of it you can make yourself.

Examples - chicken tenders (the smaller the better), fish sticks, pizza rolls, tater tots, egg rolls, mozzarella sticks, sandwiches cut into triangles or smaller, and meatloaf chopped into small pieces.
For lunch, you could make ';smoothies'; for him: about 1/2 c. juice or milk, 1 small container yogurt or 1 scoop ice cream, some fruit, 1-2 scoops protein powder, a few ice cubes - on the blender.....

Will he eat ';wraps?'; Big, freshly made tortillas spread with mayo/mustard/dressing, with lettuce and sliced meat %26amp; cheese...rolled up..... Fish %26amp; Chips could be picked up and eaten too ..... Chicken ';Fingers'; and fries ... Calzone (buy some, or make some with a little thick pasta sauce, pepperoni %26amp; cheese tucked into refrigerated dough, folded over and baked)..... Large size shrimp that he can dip into Shrimp Cocktail sauce ...... POOR GUY!! I sure hope he's doing better soon!
