For the best sauerkraut drain the liquid and lightly pan fry it with a little butter. It will be sweet and a great side dish or garnish. Pork Hocks and Kraut mostly takes time. Some fresh or smoked hocks, kraut with the liquid, dash of caraway seed, salt, pepper and let simmer for 4-6 hours. I need to know easy german food recipes?
