Quick and Easy Party Food Recipes to feed 30 people!?

Mainly looking for some quick and easy recipes to make me look good since I really don't cook.

I want stuff that can be done the day before and chilled in the fridge or stuff that can be thrown into a crockpot and left to cook, or casseroles.

I am also looking for a good brisket recipe to cook in big slow cooker if you have it.

Please help save me! I am throwing a surprise birthday party this Saturday night, and I have no idea what to cook!

THANKS!

This is one of my favorite and ever so simple appetizer recipes. I guarantee these little guys will be disappearing before you can get a second batch in the oven. Also, if you don't like blue cheese, you can always use a different cheese. I'd give the blue a chance though. This is the recipe that changed my mind about it! I used to hate blue cheese and now, I really cannot get enough of it!!!

Blue Cheese Bites

8 oz. tube biscuits

录 c. butter

3 Tbs blue cheese

Cut each uncooked biscuit into quarters. Arrange in 2 8'; round pans. Melt butter and blue cheese together. Pour over biscuits, coating well. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 400掳 till golden Serve warm.Quick and Easy Party Food Recipes to feed 30 people!?
Check out the Bon Appetit magazine website:

They generally have planned out menus that you can do ahead. Actually, the magazine is really nice, so if you don't mind spending a few bucks on it, you'll get a lot of different ideas for do-aheads and so on. Also, I'm sure that Better homes and Gardens has some sort of magazine out for this season, with a lot of good stuff.

Bon appetit's recipes though, are basically fool proof.

Go with hors-d'ouvres and appetizers, as for a cocktail party: you can make them ahead, and they are generally pretty easy.

Good Luck.

WOWEEEEEEE! Is it a party for me???? My birthday is on Sunday . :D I am teasing. I am not trying to be smart with you, but some good sites to visit to give you ideas would be bisquick.com or bettycrocker.com, or just do a google search for various recipes.

One finger food that i find to be enjoyable is if you take flour tortillas and spread creamcheese on them, then maybe put a bit of dill or honey mustard on top of the cream cheese then put in your favorite meats and cheeses, roll the tortilla and meat up, put toothpicks in it to hold the tortilla shut, chill and them cut it into rings the next day, make sure you keep the toothpicks in while you are cutting the rings. Keep the toothpicks spaced far enough to where you can cut the rings in between them.
