The easiest things to make are of course whole foods (slice up a pear and see if you're not satisfied..). For quick and easy, I'll often get something from a tin and ';doctor'; it with goodies. Omelletes are always quick, easy, and have lots of room for expirimentation. I like to make an omellette with cheddar and avocado. Deliscious! Another easy one, in case you have extra avocados, is a lovely chicken sandwich. Spread mayo on some bread (a soft wheat, preferably), sprinkle chunks of leftover roast chicken, some sliced black olives and avocado, and voila. That is an *extremely* easy crowd pleaser.

Just commenting on the above shepherd's pie: In our version, you cook up the ground beef, adding a dash of garlic powder, onion powder, and steak seasoning (preferably mccormick) then add peas, green beans and white corn. Then you fill a cassarole dish, top with a generous layer of your best doctored mashed potatoes, then top with cheddar and parmesan. Broil in the middle rack for about five minutes to get the cheese nice and browned. Serve with a dollop of sour cream on the side, can't go wrong. Every person I've ever served this to has requested the recipe. I'm extremely proud of it.
Shepards Pie, first you cook ground beef and mashed potatoes separately of course. Then you layer a oven safe big bowl with first beef, then brown gravy, sweet peas or corn, mashed potatoes and top it off with cheese. Cook in oven for like 20 min. or until cheese is good and melted temp. should be 350 very good i just cooked it last night. You can also go to www.foodnetwork.com for some good recipes
One thing that I like is Pasta-Roni Garlic %26amp; Oil. Can be cooked on top of the stove or in a microwave:

Fill a large glass container with 1-2/3 cup water with two table spoons of butter,

I like to add a little bit more garlic powder, salt, cracked pepper,

Add the Vermicelli,

Microwave for 4 minutes,

Add package of spices,

Microwave 7 minutes.
